Merry Christmas!!

3 Month Shot!!

Here is my 3 month shot. Mama couldn't get me to smile one time! I smile alot, but not when she is trying to get me too! You know.... it has to be my idea! I am getting bigger and bigger everyday. Mama is enjoying seeing my "little" rolls start to form. You have to take my diaper off to see them, they are up high on my legs. She also really likes to see the dimples in my knees and cheeks (the ones on my face people!). I am still sleeping in a cradle beside mama. Truth be told, sometime I sneek in the bed. I just like it there! If I cry long enough and loud enough, mama will snuggle me right in her arm and I will sleep sooo good. Mama doesn't want to move me just yet to my bed, she would have to get up and down a lot. She is hoping this month I will start sleeping a little better, and maybe I will be moved!! I am still holding out hope! My sisters were in there own room by now, so I think I've got their number!!
Enjoy this video if you have the time. It shows you how I like to move it, move it! I am real serious about it too!!

My hand!!

What is this??

I think I will try it!!

Here is a couple of pictures my mama took. She caught me one time when I spotted my hand. I decided to taste it. That thing is so good. It keeps me really busy. I always have something to do!! I don't realize that I have one on the other side yet!!

Sweet Girls

We are so blessed!!

2 Months!!!

Can you believe I am 2 months old already?? My mom can't!! I am growing soooo fast, getting more and more alert, and cooing and smiling a ton. I found my hand this past week and I love it. It taste so good, and I keep myself really busy making sure it is still there. I can't believe I am going to get to keep it. My sisters are still really in love with me and fuss about who held me the longest. They still want to help out as much as possible. They are great big sisters. They are asking to change my diapers, but mama won't let them. She said she is afraid they will leave some poopie on my butt!! I get so excited when they talk to me. They make me smile alot! We are going to have so much fun as I get bigger and bigger.

Well....... there is your update. Hope you are all doing well and can get your hands on me soon. I would love to coo at you. Love you all. Sara Beth

Halloween 2010

Here is a sweet picture of my 3 girls!! Leah was a cowgirl, Emma a bumblebee and Sara Beth wore a cute little pumpkin tutu outfit. They all looked so sweet. We went to a carnival Sunday afternoon, and then over to a friends house and trick or treated in their neighborhood. The girls had a great time and were worn out by the time we got home and in the bed. Hope you all had a fun weekend. On a side note, I can't believe Sara Beth is already 7 weeks old. It seems like yesterday that I was counting down the weeks until she was born. It has been crazy around here trying to keep the girls in their activities while getting into a routine with Sara Beth. We are slowly getting there. Some days I feel like I have done nothing but feed, change and hold my sweet baby. The house is a mess, but I am doing what is important. I can see her growing before my eyes. I am going to enjoy this time while I can.

One Month Old!!

Wow!! I can't believe Sara Beth is already 1 month old. In some ways it seems like she has been with us forever. Then in other ways it seems like she was just born last week!! She is changing so fast. I thought I would post a picture of her today, on her 1 month birthday!! She is smiling and cooing a little. She smiled just as I was taking this picture. The girls are really enjoying her. They love to hold her, feed her, read to her, push her in the stroller, help change her clothes, anything that we will let them do, they want to do it. They are great big sisters. Sara Beth has been a good baby. She usually only cries if she is hungry or sleepy. She is sleeping great at night. I hope it continues. She has been such a blessing to our family.

Sara Beth

She made her arrival on September 11th at 9:27 am. She weighed a whopping 9 lbs and was 22 inches long. I am still not sure how she fit in my belly! We are all doing well. We have had lots of company and now we are trying to get back to the real world. Hopefully I can post some more pictures soon. Hope everyone is doing well.

Deal of the Year!!

Do you see anything missing from this picture(besides a brush to the hair)?? First thing this morning, Emma lost her first tooth!! She will be 9 years old this month and hasn't lost one tooth on her own. That is why this is the deal of the year. We have paid good money to loose all of the other teeth (8 of them), with a lot of help from the dentist. Todd told her yesterday that if she lost that tooth on her own, the tooth fairy would be really good to her. She has really been working at it the last week or so. I still can't believe it. I know this sounds silly to most of you, but the child's teeth just don't loosen up!! She looks so different with that HUGE gap in the front. I am sure in a week or so that the new tooth will be through. They move down so fast!! Yay Emma!! Let's loose some more on our own. It was nice for the checkbook!!!

Kindergarten!!

The day if finally here!! Leah was so excited she couldn't wait to get up this morning and get ready for school. Yesterday we were talking and I told her I was really going to miss her being around during the day with me. She said, I am going to miss you too Mama. Then she said, you know what mama, I am still going to love you!! Oh, she is the sweetest thing. Don't get me wrong she is a feisty one, but so sweet at the same time. I assured her that I was still going to love her, but that I would miss hanging out with her during the day. When Todd and I dropped her off this morning, she didn't pay us to much attention. She was ready to get her stuff unpacked, and she was ready to do her morning work!! I did very well, no tears at all. I think because I am already use to her going to preschool for a few mornings a week, so today I was just dropping of at a new place, a place that I am very familiar with!! When I dropped Emma off for Kindergarten, I knew no one. Very scary for me! Emma was very sweet, she was so excited for Leah. This morning when the alarm clock went off, she jumped out of her bed and into Leah's and said Leah today is your first day of Kindergarten. So sweet!! Last night we realized we were out of paper towels, so I didn't have one to put in their lunch boxes. Emma assured Leah that she could go up to the line and get a napkin. That is just wasn't a big deal. Then when Leah got dressed for school this morning, Emma told Leah to put her arms down by her side and lets make sure your shorts are long enough (like I am going to send my child to school with short shorts)!!! It is just to funny listening to Emma make sure Leah is doing the right thing. She doesn't want her to start off on the wrong foot!! I think Leah is going to have a great day and I can't wait to pick her up this afternoon and hear all about it. She is going to learn so much this year, and I just pray that she can be a good example to others, and meet lots of friends, and just enjoy her Kindergarten year!! We love you Leah, and can't wait to journey down this new road with you!!

Baby Got New Shoes!!

Check out my latest project!! I had so much fun making these, I can't wait until Sara Beth arrives so that I can put these on her sweet little feet. Hopefully they are small enough to fit into these tiny shoes. If I knew she would be able to wear this size, I would make her some for fall and some for Christmas, and some for ....... you get the idea. I have a pattern all the way up to 18 months. Oh the possibilities!! Another great thing about them, they are reversible. So she can wear the black and white polka dot side too! Two pair of shoes in one!! Please come out so I can meet you Sara Beth. I am soooo ready to play and dress you up in some of this sweet stuff!! I know the Lord must be up there saying, "Patience, patience my dear!!"

2 weeks and counting!!!

Well, I haven't taken a side shot in a while. Leah just took this one for me!! Hopefully this is my last preggo shot. I have 2 weeks to go (but who's counting!!). I know I am counting my chickens before they hatch, but the fact of the matter is, I am ready for Sara Beth to arrive. It has been alot of fun, but we are at the point where it isn't too much fun anymore. I am measuring 40 weeks, and have started to dilate alittle. I look like a BIG slope from my boobs to my belly!! I am hoping that she comes next weekend, Labor Day weekend. The girls would have Monday off, and I would be able to get Leah to school on Friday for her first day. Time will tell. Come out, come out, where ever you are!! Trust me, I am fully aware of where she is!!!

New Favorite Thing!!

Here is my new favorite thing. Rachel ordered this for me, and I am so excited about it. I have worn it almost everyday since she gave it to me. It was such a special gift, and I will cherish it forever. One thing that I think is special about it is that she was able to get the birthstone in it, because they should all have September birthdays. If Sara Beth decides to come a few days before September, we will have to order another stone to hang on it. Isn't it lovely!! Oh, I just love it!!

4th Grade!!

Hot of the camera this morning!! I told Emma people would be checking this morning for a 4th grade picture and here you go!!!
She picked a PEACE shirt to wear this morning...I know you are all surprised!! School bells are ringing again. I can't believe that summer is over. It seems like we just got started in so many ways, but then again in other ways, it seemed like the new school year was never going to get here. Emma was so excited this morning. Actually, she has been excited ever since she went to the school Monday night to meet the teacher and discovered that her best friend was in her class for the 3rd year in a row (I did ask the teacher to not sit them beside each other). She also has another friend in her class that lives across the street. I am feeling really good about Emma's teacher this year. She is new to North Carolina. She just moved here from PA, and she seems so excited and eager to get started, and has really made a good first impression on me. She has been teaching for 14 years. She seems to have some really good ideas for the kids and how to make learning fun. I am excited to see what this school year brings. Emma is really excited about getting started and I hope that her excitement can continue on through out the school year. I can't believe that Emma is starting 4th grade. It doesn't seem right. I remember 4th grade, and I can't believe I have a child that age. She is the sweetest thing and I can't wait to see what kind of things we will be learning about this year. GOOD LUCK EMMA!! I know this is going to be a wonderful year for you, and you are going to learn tons!! We love you so much and are so excited for your new school year!!
Stay tuned... Leah meets her teacher tomorrow and starts Kindergarten on Sept. 3rd. I will post pictures of her as soon as it gets here (as long as I am not in the hospital or something like that!!)

Preggo Picture!!

Here is a picture of all my girls. Emma and Leah look too sweet. The one in the middle should make her arrival anytime. I am so excited to meet her. Emma and Leah are very excited too! She is going to turn this house upside down, but I am so looking forward to it. I am 2 1/2 weeks away from my due date, and I am counting down the days! We have her room all ready, and bags are packed. Can't wait to meet you Sara Beth.

Missouri Trip

Here are some highlights of the trip to Missouri:

This is a picture of us outside of the St. Louis Arch. I really wanted to go up in it, but didn't, we had just gotten off the plane and I wasn't feeling all that great. The girls went up with Todd and Aunt Katie, they thought it was great. This was just one of the many things we did while visiting Aunt Katie and Uncle Nick.

One of Todd's highlights of the trip was to get to check this out. I have to say that I wasn't even the slightest bit interested in stopping at this place, but once we got there, I have to admit it was pretty crazy. The tires on this thing are 10 ft tall. I don't even begin to understand how you would drive this thing (or want to). It is massive. After getting the men calmed down. ha,ha!! We took the kids to a place called the magic house. It is a children's museum. They had a great time exploring everything. There was some really neat musical things for them to do which I really enjoyed. They got to touch one of those static balls and see their hair go crazy. It doesn't take much for Leah's, it is crazy all the time anyway!!

We also went to the St. Louis Zoo. It was great. It rained some off and on but that was a blessing to me. It cooled things off a bit. We went into a butterfly house at the Zoo. It was really neat. Leah was wearing this pink hat and I think the butterflies liked it. One landed right on her head.

Then Emma was really wanting the same to happen to her. Leah took off her hat and let Emma wear it for a while, and the most beautiful Blue Morpho Butterfly landed on Emma's head. She was beyond excited. She actually did a project on this type of butterfly in 1st grade. It was perfect and so was this shot I got of her checking it out!! You can't tell from the picture but the inside of this butterfly would take your breath away it is so beautiful.

And my favorite part of the trip was just getting to spend time with Uncle Nick and Aunt Katie. I sure wish that we could live closer and spend more time together. The girls have a special place in their heart for their Uncle Nick, and he is so patient with them and actually gets down on the floor and plays with them if that is what they want to do. They played board games, and card games, and just had a great time. I know they are very happy in MO, but we would be happy if they moved alot closer to us. Selfish I know!! I guess it makes the time we do have together even more special. We love you Nick and Katie. We can't wait to do it again.

Latest Funny!!

Emma is coming down the stairs and Leah is following behind her:
Leah: Why are you telling on me?
Emma: Because you are ignoring me.
Leah: I am not ignoring you, I am praying to God, because I am about to loose my patience!!
Emma: Mama, Leah is ignoring me!!
Mama: And praying to God, what is going on up there??
Leah: (flopping down in the recliner, just like she was at her limit) I am praying to God, because I am about to loose my mind (with her hands up over her face)!!!
I thought Todd and I would die laughing. Welcome to my world. I sometimes feel like I am loosing my mind as well.

Sweet Cheeks!!

Here is the latest update on Sara Beth. We had the ultrasound today and everything looks great. The baby is measuring right on time. The reason for me measuring ahead is because I have a lot of fluid. A generous amount is the way she put it!! She said that some people have more than others and that there is nothing to be worried about. Sara Beth is weighing in at 5 lbs 5 oz. It is crazy that they can figure that out!! Sara Beth is looking straight at you in this picture. I think she is the cutest 5 pound baby I have ever seen!! You should be able to make out 2 eyes, a nose, the mouth, big cheeks, and a chin. She is so cute I can't stand it!! We also verified the girl parts again. She said there was no doubt that she is a girl. Good thing! I don't want to re-decorate. Well, that is the update. Hope everyone is doing well. We are off to Missouri in the morning. Now that we have had the ultrasound, my mind is at ease about the trip. Can't wait to see Aunt Katie & Uncle Nick!! We (the kids) are now counting down hours instead of wake-ups!!

Dr. Appointment Update!!

Today I went for a routine check up at the Dr. I had several questions today. Usually I don't really have any. Today I wanted to find out if the baby was still breech. She said she thought that she was not, but once they start checking my cervix, they can tell better. This was good news to me!! I also wanted to see if I was still measuring ahead, and I was. The Dr. said she isn't too concerned but they have ordered an ultrasound in 2 weeks to measure the baby and see how big she is. I am pretty excited to get a little sneak peek at little (or big) Sara Beth. I am also excited to confirm once again that this baby does have girl parts!! I am nervous each and every time that I have been pregnant and bought all this "girl" stuff that they may have made a mistake. I don't want to undo everything that has already been prepared for little Sara Beth. So it will be nice to see if we can confirm one more time!! Although her room is pretty ready. No boy would want to be caught in there!!
Emma was really excited to get a good listen at the heart beat. Last time she didn't get to hear it very good, the baby was moving around to much. They even let her hold the little device they use and turn it off and on. She was tickled about it!! She said it sounded like a washing machine. Kayla is visiting us today, and I managed to get them to let all of us back to get a listen. I couldn't tell if Kayla was too impressed (she is 13 years old) but I thought it was kinda special that she got to hear the baby's heart beat!! It is old stuff to Leah, she has heard it several times now. She has been going with me all along while Emma has been in school. It doesn't get old to me. I love hearing it. Makes me get excited everytime.
I also need needed to pick up a copy of my records. We are going on a trip to Missouri to see UNCLE NICK & AUNT KATIE!! WAHOO!!! I can't believe it is actually going to finally work out. We have been trying to go since last spring break. Something keeps coming up. Anyway, we are on our way on July 28th and coming back on Aug. 4th. The Dr. cleared me to go, and said everything looked good. Just to be on the safe side to take my records in case something happens.
Well, I guess that is all for my update. Hope everyone is doing well, we are hanging in there trying to stay cool!! Sorry if I rambled on and on with this post!!

30 Weeks Pregnant & Other Stuff!!

I have made it to 30 weeks!! I can't believe I only have 10 weeks to go. I am getting pretty ready to do this thing. This weather is unbelievable. I don't think it was this hot this early when I was pregnant with Emma or Leah, and they were both born in September. It has been HOT!! I have a hard time cooling off even in my air conditioned house!! I have enjoyed the girls being out of school, and being able to do things with them this summer. Next summer it will be a whole different story!! Updates on the baby: The doctor thinks the baby is breech, but she told me not to worry, the baby still has plenty of time to turn. Also I am measuring 2 centimeters ahead. Looks like I may have a bigger baby this time. Both Emma and Leah were right at 8 lbs. Time will tell!! Todd is out of town for 2 weeks, and then we will be in crunch time trying to get everything done. Todd has been really busy getting the painting done. The girls have been moved into the bonus room and are really excited. They are in their new bunk beds and are really enjoying them (Thanks Granddaddy and Grandma Tee, and thank you Kenneth for out growing them!!)All of the walls in their room are pink except one. We (Todd) painted one wall green and blue for a hill and sky. I am going to paint some flowers on the wall with the hill, and I have some paintings that I painted on canvas that match their bedding that I am going to hang on the wall, just have to put a couple of finishing touches on them. Things are coming together, but we still have some work to do. Here are a few pictures from there new room!! They are tickled pink, ha, ha!!!As Todd was finishing up painting Emma and Leah's room, I asked him if he would like to take a break from painting or would he like to go ahead and paint Sara Beth's room. Quickly he said, "Go and get the paint, let's get this done." I had the paint waiting on him when he got home the next day. He doesn't enjoy painting to much, although he does a great job. I am so blessed that I have a wonderful husband that will do things around here that I like to have done!! He is a hard worker and I couldn't ask for a better husband!! Here is a picture of what Sara Beth's walls look like. I don't have everything in there yet, like Emma and Leah's room, we still have some work to do in there. I will update soon with some more pictures, once everything is more together. Look in the box and you will see a sneak peek at what the bedding looks like. It is called Love Birds. It is very sweet and I can't wait to get my crib set up and the bedding in there. Also in the works is the curtain. I picked out the fabric this weekend, and can't wait to get it made and hung up!! I also ordered a very sweet vinyl cling to put on the wall with Sara Beth's name on it. I am eagerly waiting for this to arrive in the mail. Things are coming together nicely. This is such an exciting time, and the baby will be in her room before we know it, which makes it even more exciting!!

Who's That Lady??

I can't believe how different she looks!! Every time I go and get my hair done, Leah wants to get hers straightened (they have spoiled her). This past time, Emma was able to go with us. She is usually in school. By the time we left they had trimmed their hair, straightened Leah's and sprayed glitter in their hair. Needless to say they are ready to go back!! I can't believe how much older Leah looks with her hair straight, and how long it is. She told Todd she didn't like curls anymore, and actually cried when I made her wash her hair. I have to say I like the way she looks with those sweet little curls better.

This Child of Mine!!

Leah always cracks us up. I was just folding a load of laundry and the tv is on. A commercial came on for some shaving cream. Of course it showed a woman's very pretty long legs, tan, smooth and non-pregnant!! At the end of the commercial Leah looks at me and says, "that what you need, when I touch your legs, they are too spiky for me." THANKS ALOT LEAH!!! Oh, this child of mine, what am I going to do with her??

Cute!! Cute!!

Here is the latest from the embroidery machine. All for Sara Beth!! I can't wait for her to get here so we can use them. I can just imagine how cute she is going to look in that onesie!! I am 24 weeks just in case you were wondering. We have 16 weeks left, and a lot to get done around here. We are planning on putting Emma and Leah together in the bonus room, but before we do, we have to have someone come over and build a closet. A friend from church is going to come and give us an estimate this week. He told the girls, the better the cookies, the better the price. I told the girls, we were going to pull out all the stops!! After we get the closet done, we will have the carpet replaced, and paint!! Anyone want to come and have a painting party?? This is no small job, the bonus room is HUGE!! I am sure the girls will love it once we get it all together, it is just going to take some work. They have been trying to convince me to paint each wall a different color, lime green, bright blue, and hot pink. I don't think I am going to be able to do it. When I try to show then more muted colors, they just get upset!! Oh, joy! I am not going to be coming up my stairs and seeing those colors resonating down the hallway!! I am all about keeping them happy, but I can only go so far. We will see who wins!! (it will be me!!) Any ideas???

Preggo Update

(excuse the no makeup and wet hair)

Here is a update on the baby bump!! I can't believe how big she has grown already. I am already 23 weeks. I can't believe that either. We made it through our Sea World/Disney trip a couple of weeks ago, and boy was I worn out!! It took days to recover. We had a great time, but I am not ready to go back anytime soon. We were gone 9 days, and I don't know how people stay at disney any longer than that. On the last day I didn't think I would ever get Leah to get up. She just wanted to sleep (so did I)!! Here is a picture of all of us outside our favorite restaurant O'hana's. It is the best food we have ever had. We ate here last year, and we had to eat there again. Some of us wanted to eat there twice!!
YUM-O!!!!!!!!!

Baby # 3.........

Today was a big day!! We had an ultrasound to check and see if everything was developing with the baby the way it should be. We were thrilled that everything looked great. The baby is very healthy. The doctor said that he would be very surprised if we had any issues come up. We were also able to get some really cute pictures of the sweet baby. This one is a profile shot and looks like the baby is saluting. It was just perfect. She gave us a couple of copies of this one, so Todd took one to work to show the guys!!
Also, they were able to check the sex of the baby.... and what you are all wanting to know.......we are starting a savings account for all the weddings we are going to be responsible for paying for!!! We are having baby GIRL # 3. We are really excited, and are looking forward to meeting this sweet bundle of joy. Her name is Sara Beth.
After the doctors appointment, I went and picked up the girls. They were thrilled that it was a girl. They have both been wanting a girl the whole time. We went and had lunch, and went to Kohl's to do a little baby girl shopping. Here are a few things we picked out (some of the outfits were on the clearance, I am all about a bargain!!) Can you tell Leah is thrilled??

Hello Out There!!

For those of you who were tired of looking at the ultrasound picture every time you opened our blog, sorry. Actually I am not really, I still like looking at it. Here is a picture of my belly for those who haven't seen me in a while. I will be 17 weeks in just a couple of days, and am feeling very BIG already. I guess my body just knows what to do by now. I am only 3 weeks and a couple of days away from half way there. That just sounds crazy to me!! I had a Dr. appointment today and Leah was with me. I thought they would fall out when they saw me, at the last appointment you couldn't even tell I was pregnant, but they didn't, they assured me that my weight gain was right on track!! Shew!! We were able to hear the heart beat and Leah was really excited about that. The girls are really wanting a girl, and I think we have narrowed down our girl name, but Todd isn't talking any boy names just yet. He really thinks that we are having another girl. He said we would talk about boy names if we find out it is a boy. We actually find out on Tuesday morning!! We are extremely excited about that. Well, I guess that is all for now. We are staying really busy, and are counting down our days until we leave for Disney in 3 weeks and 2 days. Hope you all are doing well. Be looking next week for another post revealing the baby and all of his/her private parts!! I can't wait!!

Baby's First Photo

Today I had an ultrasound. It was so amazing. I was so relieved, and excited. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw this precious thing on the monitor. I was a little on edge for a second, because when they first put the image on the screen all I saw was 2 round things, I thought to myself, there IS two in there, then he changed the angle a bit and I saw where the two round parts were connected. It was amazing to see how much the "bean" had developed. I got to see arms, legs, body, and head. I was able to hear/see the heart beat, and it was beating at 167. This picture shows the head on the left, shoulders/arms, and body, you are looking at it's back. I was able to see the legs but not in the picture he gave me. Is this not the cutest thing ever?? I am actually going to have a level 3 ultrasound in about 5-6 weeks, just to check all the organs, and make sure there is no complications, because of the issues that we had with Emma, and because it is going to be a level 3, we should know for sure if it is a boy or girl!! Fun times!! Can't wait to have more pictures!! Thanks for checking in on us, keep checking back. I am slowly getting my energy back, and hopefully will be posting more often.

Christmas Break!!

We hope you all had a great break from your regular routines, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. We had a great holiday, and got to spend time with all of our family members, got way to much loot, and now we have to get back into the swing of things. Not too fun!! We got to spend a lot of time with Uncle Nick and Aunt Katie, which is always bunches of fun. We played lots of games, talked a lot, laughed a lot, and just enjoyed each others company. Can't wait until we can do it again. The kids asked me more times when they were coming than Santa Claus. They always hate to see them go, Emma actually begged them not to go back home. Hopefully we can see them again soon. We love you Uncle Nick and Aunt Katie.
