What's This??

What is this that my cutie pie is sitting on?? That would be my table that is finally finished!! I am in love, and am super excited that it is finally in the house. Now I am looking for some miss matched chairs to go around it. Hopefully I can find some on craigslist or goodwill or something. We built this table from scratch and it took longer to finish than I ever expected. Life happens and other things take priority!! So glad to have it finished. Can't wait to have you over to eat at it.. watcha bringing?!?!

Great Wolf Logde

Over spring break we spent one night at the Great Wolf Lodge. We had so much fun! There was water everywhere, so I didn't get many pictures. This was Sara Beth's first experience in the pool. She did great, 2 of the pools started at zero depth. That worked out great, she would sit and splash, and reach out and touch the little fountains. Emma LOVED the inter tube rides. Todd and I would take turns riding with her. There was a wave pool and every so many minutes the pool would start having huge waves!! That was Leah favorite spot. We all had a great time and it was nice to get away for a night!

Food..Food...Food!

Sara Beth finally started eating food from me! I am super excited about it. I think I mentioned in a recent post about her not being too interested in taking baby food from me. I heard that this is actually common in breastfed babies. She seemed to eat pretty good from anybody but me (even Emma). She finally started eating and has eaten anything I have offered so far. She even ate some banana chunks a couple of nights ago. She picked them up and put them in her mouth and didn't choke one time. I couldn't believe it. It doesn't seem like she is big enough to be doing all of these things. I have to put the tray on her chair when I feed her, if not she sucks on her toes in between bites! If you check out her legs you can see where she grabs them to get her feet in her mouth. Gross!! She pretty much needs a bath after eating. Fun times!!

Here is a little video her eating puffs. How come everything is so stinkin cute when people are compacted in these adorable little bodies? I can't stand it, everything she does is super cute. Call me crazy, but her eating these puff is the cutest thing ever! If you don't agree, don't tell me, ok! Just let me enjoy it! I keep watching this video over and over again. She has a little trouble with the second one. I like watching her try and figure it out!!

Sister Love!!

Can I just tell you that I love these girls so much it hurts me to look at this sweet picture. Just saying.. I could eat them up, in a skinny flat second!! One brown eyed, and two blue eyed babes. Oh...be still my heart.

Easter

Youngest to oldest: Here are the girls with their Easter Baskets!! They were up and ready to get to the loot!!

Here is a shot of the girls ready for church. We always have to get a few shots with their new dresses. They don't coordinate at all, but they picked their own!! I guess that is what happens when they get bigger. At least I have one little one to still pick clothes for!

6 & 7 Months

I am trying to catch up here!! Here is a picture of Sara Beth at 6 months and 7 months. At her 6 month check up she was 16 pounds. I can't believe how much she is changing and learning everyday. She has starting sitting up for her baths. She really likes to reach out and touch the water.She has the sweetest little grin where she scrunches up her nose. It has been hard catch on camera. This is close!

We have been trying to give her some baby food. She hasn't been too interested in taking it from me!! It seems like she eats better from other people. Grandma Tee gave her some mashed potatoes. She enjoyed them alot!!

I have given her some puffs the last few days and boy does she like those. She is working on her pincher grasp. She is pretty good and grabbing them, but letting them go in her mouth is a work in progress. She is also learning to drink from a sippy cup. She basically bites it and lets the liquid run all down the front of her face. She will get the hang of it eventually. It just doesn't seem like she should be doing all of this stuff already. Where is my baby going?? She is learning to wave. She opens and closes her hand and it is the cutest thing ever! As far as sleeping goes, she is still getting up at least once each night. She takes a really good nap mid morning and then cat naps off and on the rest of the day. She has been such a joy to have in our family. She keeps us laughing and keeps us really busy! Hope this makes you guys feel up to date. I will try to do better. Life is happening fast around here!!
