The way to this little girls heart is through food. She doesn't like to be left out of any snacks around here. In fact, she gets pretty upset if you are eating and she isn't. I think we have a porky little pig among us.
Leah was eating some goldfish crackers and asked if she could give Sara Beth some of the little crumbs.
Doesn't she look happy?
I thought it was too cute. Sara Beth kept looking over at the bowl to make sure there was still some in there.
Leah was so tickled about the whole thing. She thought she was big stuff giving the baby some snack. Sara Beth couldn't have been happier. She was on the receiving end of the stick!! Leah as really enjoyed having Sara Beth to herself this week while Emma has been at camp. She has been a big help to me.

Memorial Day
Back on Memorial Day, Todd was asked to throw out the first pitch for a college baseball game. They were having a tournament and it was military appreciation weekend.
Here he is getting his instructions and waiting for them to announce his name. It was neat hearing them announce Staff Sargent Jason Soyars. The kids were pretty excited too!!
I think he was a little nervous! He has never been one to play baseball. I told him all he needed to do was get it down there. Just don't let it bounce. You won't look good if you let it bounce before it gets to the catcher!! It didn't bounce. The catcher did have to stand up to catch the ball, but he did a great job. We were all very proud!!

Pool Time
We finally made it to Grandaddy and Grandma T's pool. I was apparently the ONLY one in the family that hadn't taken a dip in the pool. They can't say that now, ha, ha!! The girls loved it. It was actually the first time Sara Beth had been in a raft and been pushed around in a pool. Man did she love it. She kicked and smiled the whole time. She wore herself out(and me too)! She couldn't stop putting her face in the water. I think I have a water baby on my hands! After a nice swim in the pool, Grandaddy cooked some yummy stuff on the grill. It was a great evening. Hopefully we can do it again soon! Check out this cutie!!
And my other cuties!! Fun times!!
School's Out!!
Well, summer has come again already. The girls had a great year. Leah really enjoyed her Kindergarten year and loved her teachers. She actually told me on the last day of school that she didn't have a good day because she was going to miss her teachers. She doesn't know yet that she is suppose to long for the summer!!
Someone got really tired while they were given out all those awards!!
Emma had a great year and did a great job all year long. She got all A's, B's, and one C on her report card this year. She really worked hard. She had a great teacher that I am going to miss alot. Mrs. Lane was a breath of fresh air. Emma will be changing classes next year. Oh my baby is no baby anymore. Where does the time go? I am hoping and praying for 2 great teachers next year.
Way to go girls!! We are proud of your hard work and the great job you both have done this school year. Let's have a great summer!!!
On the Move!
That's right folks. There is NO stopping me now! I am exploring all over the place. I go from one room to the next checking things out. Eating whatever I can find along the way. My mama does the finger sweep quite often on me. I don't like it AT ALL. I wish she would let me enjoy the small twigs, leaves, strings, fabric bits, and whatever else I find. I work hard to get them off the carpet. They are my treats, but she comes in and takes them from me. I get really mad!!
And for your viewing pleasure. My mama made me this outfit. She was very excited about it, so I thought I would share it with you.
New Look!
Emma has a new look. I think she looks 12! When I told her that, she gave me 2 thumbs up. This nice little (expensive) piece of metal is going to push a tooth forward that is stuck slightly behind another tooth. She is really starting to look older to me. Speaking of older. She is at camp this week. I am ready to give her a good squeeze. This is the first time she has been away from home for more than a night. She doesn't like to be away to much. Everytime I have talke to her she has been so happy and giggly. I can't wait to see her on Saturday. She is such a sweet child and I hope and pray that the sweet heart she has will stay with her forever!!
9 Months!
Sara Beth is already 9 months old. She had a check up and weighed in at 17 lbs 10 ozs. She is crawling all over the place. She has discovered that she can pull up on everything! She is eating everything in site, and is growing like a weed.
She got a swing to go on our swing set and is in LOVE!! She gets so happy and swings her feet. She actually laughed out loud when we first pushed her in it.
She is generally a happy girl. She has her moments, like when she sees food but isn't getting it, but all in all is a good little girl!! We are so blessed to have her in our family. She keeps us busy and laughing!!!
